We provide snack for toddlers and preschoolers. Once older infants are introduced to a variety of solids, then they can be offered school snack. Snack is usually a fruit and cracker or dry cereal. Parents provide lunch.
Move-ups are done twice a year (at the end of June when we transition to summer if space allows or at the beginning of a new school year). Children are required to be at least 2.9 years old before transitioning. Depending on when children are enrolled in the Infant/Toddler classroom, they may turn 3 before moving up to the Preschool classroom. We cannot do move-ups in the middle of the school year due to spacing.
Absolutely! Younger children learn from the older children and the older children learn from the younger children. In each classroom, children are met at their developmental level and challenged accordingly. A mixed age classroom also provides continuity of care for 2-3 years depending on when a child enrolls.
Yes, we are a peanut-free and nut-free school. Sunbutter is a good alternative to peanut butter and nut butters.
Yes, we offer 5% off the older child’s tuition, unless the younger child has a lesser schedule.
We follow Arlington Public Schools closures and delays. An email is sent out to parents to confirm the closure or delay.
